Crisis Core: FF7 – THE END – Part 10

This is my Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Blind Playthrough, part 10! Enjoy my reactions!

Here we see the end of Zack’s journey, and what an emotional one it is. Just to get this out of the way, I do some side missions with Yuffie and materia and item fusion before the final fight. Zack’s final trek begins at the Banora ruins, where he explores the factory basement where Genesis is waiting. He fights Genesis Avatar and finally Genesis. Never giving up the pursuit, Shinra corners Zack and Zack fights his final battle protecting Cloud till the end.

This game is the telling of Zack’s story and the events directly before Final Fantasy 7. For those familiar with Final Fantasy 7, we will be seeing some old and new faces such as: Angeal, Genesis, Sephiroth, Director Lazard, Professor Hojo, Hollander, Kunsel, Cissnei, Tseng, Reno, Rude and others. We’ll travel to different areas like upper Midgar, the slums of Midgar, Banora, Wutai, Junon, etc etc. 🙂

I am playing on Normal difficulty. I played the original Final Fantasy 7 for the first time in ’98 or ’99, and it was my first JRPG. The detail, vastness, characters, story, combat, music etc etc left a very lasting impression on me. I played it for the second time on my Twitch stream in 2014. I played the Remake earlier this year (2020). Now it’s time to understand more about Zack’s backstory!
