We announced new features “Drop Converter” and “3D Smart Pro AI” update at the Nakamura-Tome private show.
The “Drop Converter” is a feature that simplifies the programming of multi-turret machines, a challenge for customers using multi-tasking machines and lathes. By converting from a single turret program to a two-turret, three-turret program in seconds, programming time and training time can be reduced.
The 3D Smart Pro AI can automatically create ISO code (G-code and M-code) programs by reading 3D models into the control panel. This function has already been released, but due to customer requests, it is now able to handle shapes that could not be supported in the past.
It also works for 2D drawings with 3D Smart Pro, which is not equipped with AI.
Both “Drop Converter” and “3D Smart Pro AI” are standard features of Nakamura-Tome’s unique NT Smart X control panel. We hope that more and more people will enjoy the functions that allow anyone to use multitasking machines quickly, easily, and accurately.
