【DIY】お庭に駐車場作ってみました｜Japan Village Life
The season passes by in the blink of an eye. Before we know it, the apple blossoms that signaled the arrival of spring have fallen, and preparations for bearing fruit are underway. We, too, have to move forward like the apples… We visited the garden. I got an idea while watching the rabbit , so let’s try DIY. Something I’ve always wanted to do is build a parking lot.I’ve been parking my car in an empty space in the garden, but it’s difficult to park, so I want to do something about it… Maki is a DIY lover. We started building the parking lot under the guidance of a leader who is reassuring that his father will be working with him.First of all, we want to cut down fallen trees that we received and reuse as much natural material as possible.Thanks to the electric saw that was lent to us, the work is going ahead. I was using a machete to cut branches for the first time, and I was having a hard time cutting them… I cut them! Carrying branches one after another The end was finally in sight as I carried the tree, trying to carry one more tree, but giving up.Working while listening to the chorus of insects and small birds.I guess I’m in the forest. I also had to do the sharpening and making the stakes.It ‘s quite difficult, but it’s hard work and I sharpen it with enthusiasm, but it feels like I’m back to being a boy and it’s really fun.I dig a hole to put the stakes in.I use a hammer to put the stakes in.That ‘s about it. Is it okay? Today I’m on the verge of making a few more of these, and I’m working up a sweat.In an age when you can ask someone to do anything for you , it’s the first time in a long time that you’ve felt the joy of making something yourself. I guess I’ve changed a lot since I moved . The next morning I put the finishing touches on building the parking lot. I leveled the dirt at the end and that was it. The wild parking lot was completed. It got muddy from the heavy rain. The tracks of the tires are clearly visible in the soil. I wonder if this is what happens when there is only soil… For me, everything is new to me, and I feel like I am learning how to live in nature. This is gravel.If you sprinkle this on it, it will be a little better.Actually , it seems like it would be better to level the ground and lay out weeding sheets, but… I’m sorry for the inconvenience.After work, I set up the parking lot in the garden before moving. If that were the case, I would never have done it.When I returned home late at night after being jolted by a crowded train, I had no energy left.I was thinking about the next day’s presentation until just before I fell asleep.The forest was started by a working person in Nagano. I feel like this way of life suits me better . By the way, there seems to be a lot less gravel. I’ll have to go down to town again and get ready.
