And then you’ll also get monthly membership badges just flexing how long you’ve been a member of the channel for. It supports the channel. It’s much appreciated. And again, if you do or you don’t. So guys, let’s get started. We’re kicking things off with the hot seat and the hot seat book this week goes to New Avengers issue 4. Now overall, I’ve really enjoyed this story. However, I felt that the third issue was the weakest issue for me and I’m just curious how long are they going to go on this particular story with our new Avengers team battling this Kill Lamati group, right? They’re a bunch of clones of the Illuminati. So, how long are they going to drag this story on? And does this book actually have any legs going forward? So, time will tell. We’ll see what happens. 32 pages for the price of $4. The next book is a book that goes from not even being read to on the rise, but I’m very interested in it. And it goes to Wonder Woman issue 25. This begins a new story arc and we get introduced to a new villain in here as well. And uh I thought she was called the matriarch. I think that’s what she’s called. Whatever it is. Yeah, that’s what she is. And it’s a it’s a oversized anniversary issue. You know, we’re celebrating all 25 issues of Wonder Woman. But really, it is for this new villain. I want to see what Tom King has to offer when it comes to a new adversary here. So, the legacy numbering is 825. 40 pages for this one and it’s five bucks. All right, officially kicking off the top 10. Now, coming in at number 10, we have Crypto the Last Dog of Krypton issue 4. Always a good series. However, it’s a very fast read. I’m not going to lie because this is the point of view of a dog and a dog doesn’t have very much to say, right? So, you get to experience what Krypto is going through, the people that he’s coming across, whether it’s Lex Luthther or uh just a random person out in the woods or who does he come across this time, right? And it looks like we’re starting to see him develop his powers because in the last issue, he flew for the first time, he barked super loud, all kinds of crazy stuff. So, we’ll see what happens in this issue. It is a fun read. It definitely has a lot of heart. 32 pages, $4. Coming in at number nine, we have The Absolute Flash, issue 7. A little bit lower on my list just because this is one of the books that hasn’t gotten into as much character growth as say some of the other Absolute titles. Now, we did get a little bit of that finally in the last issue when it comes to the rogues gallery, and we’re still seeing uh Wall-E kind of come into his own when it comes to the powers and dealing with the situation at hand. So, we’ll see how this story continues to develop. 32 pages, $5. Coming in at number eight, we have The Amazing Spider-Man, issue 12. Now, I’ve really enjoyed The Amazing Spider-Man. I think it’s a much improved comic in my eyes than say the previous run. I think like written-wise when it comes to the art, it’s kind of the same in many ways because you still have John Rmuna Jr. that does partial artwork on the story, but when you have the Pepe Lorz artwork, I think it’s a much better looking comic book. We’re definitely going into two different directions here when it comes to the character because you got a Spider-Man that’s on the streets and you got a Spider-Man that’s in space. And based off of the revelation that we got in the last issue, I don’t know, it makes for an interesting story here on, you know, how are these characters going to hold up Peter’s life? And if you read the story, you know what I’m talking about, right? So, we’ll see what happens with it. This one legacy numbering has not is 976. 32 pages $5. Like trying to be vague about it. Coming in at number seven, we have this ends tonight. This is issue three. Let me tell you th this book by like the art by Jay Lee here has been absolutely awesome. And I’m trying to remember who is it is it Jerry Dugen that right? Or is it Charles Soul? I forgot. one of the two who writes it. But nevertheless, this has been an interesting story about these girls in Vegas, right? Last issue, you wind up getting to see um one on her bachelorette party and then they’re being attacked. They had a bounty on them and it was just like them protecting this girl that was on her bachelorette party and it was so much action and so much fun. And then the first issue kind of tied into the second issue and it’s just a beautiful action-packed issue to look at. Absolutely loved it. I’m so curious what this third issue is going to bring. It’s just non-stop actions, balls to the wall. It’s it’s great, guys. 24 pages, four bucks. Coming in at number six, we have Fantastic 4. This is issue three. Um, still kind of tying into One World Under Doom as we have Doom. that’s kind of sending off the Fantastic 4 in different time periods. There’s a lot of time travel I think that’s going to happen within this series as well. Uh in the first couple issues, we got to see the Fantastic 4 lost in time. Then they found themselves coming back together at the end and then it looks like Doom is like sending sending them off again. Uh not sure where we’re going to go in the long term with this series, but I think it’s it’s written pretty well. And I like Herberto Ramos’s art. I think it adds something extra to the book as well. Uh what I liked about the last issue in issue two is there was a lot of Sue in there and she doesn’t ramble on as much as Reed when this book this book I don’t like as much when Reed talks cuz he tends to talk too much. So Legacy number eight 729 32 pages $4 for this one. Moving on to the top five. Here we go. Number five, we have Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. This is issue two. I like the first issue of this. I thought it was really well done. Benjamin Percy’s behind this entire thing. Uh I’ve stressed how I feel about Benjamin Percy’s writing. I think he’s the perfect like comic book writer. If you’re looking for a story that’s not too super serious and you like action and you like blood and you like a little bit of gore and uh I think he’s a good writer for for that. Right. So, when it comes to Predator versus Marvel universe, you got the Predators going after the Marvel Universe characters and we got to see some of the uh deaths that happened. And who is on the Predator’s side? Well, that is Craven the Hunter. And if you’ve read the previous series beforehand, uh this ties in really nicely, right? So, it definitely adds to the story if you read like Predator vers Spider-Man or Predator vers Wolverine, right? But it’s not essential that you need to read it. So, really like this. Can’t wait to see how the Marvel universe prevails against the Predators, even if they do. But my god, Craven Hunter teaming up with the Predators. Insane. 32 pages, five bucks. Coming in at number four, we have Marvel DC Deadpool Batman issue one. So, this is the big time crossover obviously between Marvel and DC. You’re going to get, you know, Batman Deadpool and then other characters crossing over within the pages of this comic book. I’m not going to lie, I was like super stoked about this when it was first announced. Um, however, as time has gone along, I’m not as excited for it because I feel like I’m more excited for events like DC KO and this is kind of just like some short stories with these heroes crossing over. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool, but I would have loved to see it more of an event as it would mean something for these, you know, two properties and it’s just kind of like, well, it’s teamup books and might be fight books or, you know, we’ll see what happens with it. Um, so we’ll see. Again, it’s 64 pages, a lot of pages here, and it’s $7. Coming in at number three, we have G.I. Joe issue 11. This is the final showdown with Major Blood and the Baroness. Now, this has been a fun little separate story arc that’s going on away from the Joe’s as you have the Baroness forcing Major Blood. He’s threatening to kill her uh parents and whatnot. Covergirl has been in the issue as well. Just an awesome, really well book here. Uh looking forward to this issue. 32 pages, $4. Coming in at number two, you want to talk about bloody and gory, we got Battle Beast. This is issue five. This story has been a nice surprise about a side character in the Invincible universe. He’s gotten to travel alongside with this prince uh that he rescued from this monster. And now we get to see the origin of this prince, like how he once was the possible ruler of this planet and maybe what happened to his planet. And uh I like how Battle Beast is this very hard character, but somehow someway he’s established a supporting cast here. So we’ll see what happens. He’s still looking for the ultimate fighter to kill him and uh and to die with honor. Does he ever get that? I don’t know. He’s a great character, though. 24 pages, $4. Before we get to number one, don’t forget as we still have some noteworthy comic books to discuss because this is my top 10 most anticipated, might not be yours, but I do want to showcase some books that are that are scheduled to come out for that comic book week. But my number one most anticipated goes to Exquisite Corpses. This is issue five. Issue four was the best of the series so far as we wind up getting to see two combatants go against each other, which was Lady C and the Fox. Right now, we don’t know if Lady C actually wind up getting killed in the last issue or not, but they were not scheduled to face off against each other based off of the bracket. Usually, the book has gone off of the bracket, but you left her lying there in a question mark. So, it it leaves a little bit of a a different path when you read the book, but it had a lot of action. It had a lot of gore. It took its um focus away from the rich people that are running this tournament and it got to the battle at hand, which I was definitely looking forward to. We’re going to see what happens this time around. Again, my pick is the gamer kid. He’s been lying low. He hasn’t even been f focused on in about two issues now. And I’m excited about that. Maybe he could pull off the upset, right? Who’s your pick? Let me know in the comments below. 32 pages, $5. Noteworthy comics. As usual, guys, when it comes to noteworthy, we always kick it off with Marvel. And the first thing we’re going to talk about is the ultimates. This is issue 16. This book has dropped off for me now. We’re focusing on so many characters that get their oneanddone spotlights to possibly defeat the maker. We’re losing sight of everything that has been going on in this book. Like, we don’t even get to see the ultimates anymore. We just see random characters. Then we have the uncanny X-Men. This is issue 21. Next, we have Ultimate Black Panther. This is issue 20. Then we have Miles Morales Spider-Man issue 38. Maybe this book gets on back on track for me as we do have Felicia in the issue which is cool. Then we have The Incredible Hulk. This is issue 29. Uh getting ready to start this series over again. Then we move on to DC Comics as we have Nightwing uh issue 130 followed by Batman Superman’s World Finest. This is issue 43. Then we have Batman and Robin Year 1, which is always a solid book. I think this is getting ready to wrap up very soon. So, yeah, we got that one coming up. And then we have Catwoman issue 79. I think it might be a new story arc that you can jump on. All right. And then we have the second issue of Justice League Red issue 2. This is a miniseries. The first issue was decent, but you didn’t get to see the entire roster. So, this is a miniseries. We want to see the entire roster, right? All right. Moving on to some indie books. Here we have The Walking Dead. This is issue 121. Then we have The Seasons. This is issue 8. Followed by the first issue of Casey Jones. This is issue one. And then we have No Man’s Land. This is issue one. I just spit outside my mouth. I can see it on the camera. And then we have, which is a weird one, Street Sharks. This is issue one. I guess this was a a cartoon at one point if I remember correctly. And there you guys have it. There are my top 10 most anticipated and some noteworthy comic books for September 17th, 2025. Did you guys enjoy it? Let me know what books you’re most excited about in the comment section below. And as always, I will leave you more content right here for you to click on.
