When Kasuga finds that Kiyo is planning to send her back | Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Ni
Everyone uses Kio’s ship Ray Regu to visit Lake Kaya near Oreo’s village. Oreo reveals her village was abandoned years ago, and Oreo is unconcerned about what happened to her family since they sold her off as a servant. Kassuga decides to go see Kio with Ranaru while bringing the tiramisu she made for him. While walking, she asks Ramaru about his impression of Kio and finds he doesn’t believe Kio has what it takes to be a Hatio. Just upon entering the ship’s control room, Kassuga overhears Kio telling Ginji that he would send Kassuga back to Tenjinya for her happiness and safety. Taking his words the wrong way, Kasuga gets angry and shouts at him for forgetting everything he promised her, then runs away as she returns crying to Oreo. Awei rushes to Kio and accidentally tells him that he was Kassuga’s first love, flustering him. She also gives him the tiramisu which reminds him he once dreamed of making the northern lands a better place with Kasuga. Upon reaching the lake Kaya, Kio asks Awei to call Kasuga as well. Ai talks with Kasuga who decides to meet Kio in her tanuki form. Finally, the two reconcile, but just the next moment, a pirate sniper suddenly shoots at Kio from Kaya Castle, but Kasuga protects him and takes the hit. Immediately hiding inside the ship, they give Kassuga a treatment, but find she was hit by a bullet made from poisoned ice and that they were only able to remove half of it. To get rid of the poison, Kasuga requires a ricketodake mushroom within 3 days, which only grows in the mountains. Oreo reveals that the mushroom grows near her village and volunteers to go. Awi and Gini also insist on going, so Kio decides to use his ship’s mechanism to distract pirates, giving them a chance to run in the mountains. After a full day of searching, Awi and Gini are forced to return to the village. As the temperature drops, Oreo keeps searching while Awei and Gingji find the village is full of mountain bandit Aakashi, some of which notice them and attack Gingi. Suddenly, Awei runs away and lures them to a cliff where she threatens to turn them into a hot pot.
