1993年に岩井俊二監督のドラマ(打ち上げ花火、下からみるか？横からみるか？)で使われたこの曲は、実写映画（1995年）の主題歌にもなりました。このオリジナル曲はREMEDIOS (日本名：麗美)が書き下ろしたもので、2017年8月には同作品を原作としたアニメーションのほか、DAOKOのカバーバージョン (2017) もリリースされました。ビデオの中の写真はドラマのヒロインを演じた女優の奥菜恵さんです。
The song, which was used in 1993 in the drama (Uchiage hanabi, shita kara miru ka? Yoko kara miru ka?) directed by Iwai Shunji, also became the theme song for the live-action movie (1995). This original song was written by REMEDIOS (Japanese name: Reimy), and in August 2017, in addition to the animation based on this work, the cover version of DAOKO (2017) was released. The picture in the video is actress Megumi Okina, who played the heroine in the drama.
