Sky News host James Morrow says a Marriott Hotel has decided not to host a Uyghur conference due to wanting to be “politically-neutral”.

Mr Morrow said the hotel, in Prague, was going to host a political conference of “Uyghur exiles” regarding the situation in China.

“And then they decided, ‘no actually, we’re not going to let you host this conference here at one of out hotels’ because they want to be politically-neutral,” he said.

“Which, of course, we all know is code for, they want to … not offend China, not offend the Chinese market and lose that business.

“Shame on Marriott for that one.”
