第22話「ひっぱたく!」

激昂し
カンベエの元から
飛び出していくカツシロウ。

心配し追いかけるキララの気持ちを無視し、
自分の想いを一方的に押し当てる。

ぎこちないラブシーン。

翌朝、傷の癒えたリキチを伴って
カンナ村からヘイハチとシチロージが
カンベエの元に参じる。

リキチはそこで妻・サナエと再会するが、
亡き天主を想うサナエは拒絶を示す。

重い沈黙。

未だ心が解き放たれないサナエを見て、
カンベエは刀で斬れぬものに対する
己の力不足に苦しむ。
