レベルファイブの人気ゲーム「ダンボール戦機」のブラウザー、スマートフォン版ゲーム「装甲娘」が制作されることが9月29日、分かった。DMM GAMESが制作するシミュレーションRPGで、「ダンボール戦機」のLBX（ロボット）のパーツをまとった美少女が登場。美少女は攻撃を受けると装甲が破壊され、肌が露出される。ブラウザー版が今冬、スマートフォン版が来春に配信予定。29日、DMM VR THEATER（横浜市西区）で行われた発表会で明らかになった。
同作のメディアミックスプロジェクトも展開。アニメ化されるほか、 マンガ誌「コロコロコミック」（小学館）の“青年版”の「コロコロアニキ」（同）でマンガが掲載され、プラモデルも発売される。発表会にはDMM GAMESの片岸憲一代表、レベルファイブの日野晃博社長らが登場した。

“”Armor Girls” = beautiful girl version in Danball Senki released! Be adapted into an animation
