谷花音、声優ぶり絶賛され大粒の涙　「うれしいです」　劇場版アニメ「夜明け告げるルーのうた」初日舞台あいさつ

　女優の谷花音さんが5月20日、東京都内で行われた劇場版アニメ「夜明け告げるルーのうた」（湯浅政明監督）の公開記念舞台あいさつに登場。人魚の少女・ルー役で、声優として初めてアニメ作品の主演を務めた谷さんは、湯浅監督から「人間ではないということで難しかったと思う。まっすぐな力強さ、透明感、素直さを生かした声で、ピュアで優しく元気いっぱい。女優さんとしても、しっかりしていて受け答えもできる。これからの活躍が楽しみです」と絶賛され、「声を褒められたのが初めてなので、うれしいです」と大粒の涙を流しながら喜んだ。

　「夜明け告げるルーのうた」は、寂れた漁港の町・日無町（ひなしちょう）に住む中学生の少年・カイ（下田翔大さん）が、人魚のルー（谷さん）と出会い、交流を深めることで次第に心を開いていく……というストーリー。舞台あいさつには下田さん、ルーのパパを演じた篠原信一さんも出席。映画の内容にちなんで湯浅監督から谷さんらに「本当の気持ちを伝える」として、感謝の手紙が読み上げられた。

　谷さんは「ルーちゃんは、恥ずかしがらずに何でも素直に気持ちを伝えられる女の子。そういうのをイメージしてアフレコに臨みました」と振り返りながら、アフレコをしている最中に、湯浅監督から特に注意をされず不安があったと明かすと、湯浅監督は「全然問題ありませんでした。谷さんの声に癒やされていました」と満面の笑みで語っていた。

Actress Kanon Tani appeared at the fan meeting to release the animation “Lu Over the Wall” (Director: Yuasa Masaaki) in Tokyo on May 20th. Kanon Tani has dubbed the main character mermaid Lu for the first time. She received the praise from Director Yuasa: “I think that this role is very difficult because the character is not a human. The dubbing voice must be strong, pure, truthful, gentle and energetic. Despite being an actress, she still meets the above requirements. We hope that she will be successful in the future” and she said happily in tears: “ As this is the first time I have been praised for my voice, I feel very happy”. “Lu Over the Wall” is a story about the encounter between Kai (Shota Shimoda) – a high school boy living at a abandoned fishing port in Hinashichou town and mermaid Lu (Tani). After the encounters, their love is deepened.
