After getting his sense slapped on to him by Kaname, Sousuke pilots the Arbalest once again to take down Gates. His new found resolve rises the limit of the Lambda Driver. Together with his new partner, Sousuke is back stronger than ever.
Afterward, Kaname returns home to Japan. Sousuke faces the Mithril commanders, which grants his request to stay with Kaname even if his wages are reduced.
