The S&P 500 (SPY) and its sectors are back down in the risk off category now that Mondays gap down has done its damage. Although we had one day of rally based on Jerome Powell and the FOMC news, it was not significant enough to shift the market back to a risk on sentiment. We are still in continued downtrends in ALL of our sectors barring energy.

The NASDAQ aka QQQ is looking slightly more bullish with a more meaningful gap fill, but not quite warm and fuzzy yet for a reversal.

Russell 2000 and small caps have deteriorated back down to being in line with everything else signaling risk off.

We also look at trade ideas in WMT, MU, ZM.

If you’re a day trader looking to make fast money online this stock market analysis has you covered! Keep these areas of support and resistance in mind, as well as any technical patterns, before taking on the rest of the day trading week.
