I usually prune tomato plants to a single leader or stem and then try to find ways to hang and support the plant as it continues to grow for as long in the season as possible. I have not been certain that this is the best approach, so this year I tried 5 different methods to control the plants, including letting multiple stems grow, and pruning the growing tip at the top of the polytunnel.
