Did you catch this in Despicable Me? Gru, Lucy, and a few Minions are using submarines to track down Balthazar Bratt in one of the movie’s opening scenes. At one point, they happily drive through several clownfish that are calmly floating nearby. It just so happens that those aquatic animals resemble Nemo and Marlin, the father-and-son team from Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. This might just be a reference to the movie.
