Hey everyone, I am back!
It has been about 2 months since my last upload, and it is like a short journey to me, so I decided to arrange this piece – “Traveller’s Song (旅人の唄)” – which the anime series from this “OP 1” is one of the most iconic anime series (especially on the “isekai” genre) in Winter 2021.
Anyway, I have used up quite a lot of time to arrange this piece due to the complexity of the key in this song (fortunately, the length of this piece is fairly short). Regarding the overall of this arrangement, the first part of this piece (verse 1 to pre-chorus) is on Eb minor; the second part of this piece (chorus) is on Gb major; the third part of this piece (approaching ending) is on Bb minor.
In order to make this arrangement sounds more “rich” and interesting, I have tried to incorporate many harmony notations and chords, as well as the “second accompaniment or secondary rhythm” (the small notes in the score), and I believe it turns out very well.
Moreover, in the 41st to 42nd bar, I purposely make the tie note there (F note), which resembles the ending of Chopin’s “Fantaisie-Impromptu, Op. 66” very well as I have been practising this piece for months. However, do note that it has some errors shown by the “Synthesia” software in the video (1:03 – 1:06), where it supposes to only hold the F note of the right-hand side chord in Bar 41 but not the whole chord (C, Ab, C), so it is better to refer back to the score.
