風の谷のナウシカ　　Art＆Music #shorts

『風の谷のナウシカ』（かぜのたにのナウシカ）は1984年に公開されたトップクラフト制作の日本のアニメーション映画。宮崎駿監督の長編アニメーション映画第2作。1982年に『アニメージュ』に連載していた宮崎の同名漫画（『風の谷のナウシカ』）を原作とする[3]。原作の単行本全7巻から見ると、序盤に当たる2巻目の途中まで連載された時点での作品で、内容も2巻66ページまでの映像化。映画公開後に連載を再開した漫画とは内容が異なる（後述）。キャッチコピーは「少女の愛が奇跡を呼んだ」[注 2]。同時上映は「名探偵ホームズ」「青い紅玉（ルビー）の巻」「海底の財宝の巻」[注 3]。

アニメージュを発行する徳間書店と広告代理店の博報堂による製作委員会方式で映画化され[5]、宮崎自身が監督・脚本を手がけた。高畑勲・鈴木敏夫・久石譲ら、のちのスタジオジブリ作品を支えるスタッフが顔を揃えている。

“Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” is a Japanese animated film produced by Topcraft and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It was released in 1984 and was Miyazaki’s second feature-length animated film. The film is based on Miyazaki’s manga of the same name, which was serialized in Animage magazine in 1982. The movie covers the beginning of the story up to chapter 66 in volume 2 of the seven-volume manga series. The catchphrase for the film is “Love is the Miracle”. It was released in Japan alongside the films “Sherlock Hound,” “The Blue Ruby,” and “Treasure Under the Sea.”

The film was produced by a committee consisting of Tokuma Shoten, the publisher of Animage, and advertising agency Hakuhodo, and directed and written by Miyazaki himself. The film’s staff includes many of the future members of Studio Ghibli, such as Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki, and composer Joe Hisaishi.
