作家池波正太郎の生誕100年の2023年、代表作「鬼平犯科帳」の新しい時代劇シリーズの撮影が京都・太秦の松竹撮影所を拠点に始まった。故中村吉右衛門さんから鬼平（長谷川平蔵）役を継いだおいの松本幸四郎さん（50歳）ら新しい出演者が6月7日午後に会見した。松本幸四郎さんは「いいものを作ろうと、このメンバーで走っている。もっと熱くなれるように励みたい」と意気込みを語った。

In 2023, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Shotaro Ikenami, shooting of a new period drama series based on his representative work “Onihei Hankacho” began at Shochiku Studio in Uzumasa, Kyoto. Koshiro Matsumoto (50 years old), who took over the role of Onihei (Heizo Hasegawa) from the late Kichiemon Nakamura, and other new performers held an interview on the afternoon of June 7th.
