作品について / Program notes:
この曲は神戸市立本庄中学校吹奏楽部の委嘱で、2011年12月第39回兵庫県アンサンブルコンテスト第21回神戸地区大会で初演されました。元々の編成は(Fl., Cl., A.Sax., Trp., Hrn., Trb., Tuba, Perc.)のための混合８重奏です。
このフレキシブル版の変更する際に演奏可能な音域に修正しましたが、オリジナルの編成の音域に比べると、楽器により鳴りにくかったりしますので、各々バランスなどを工夫してください。素朴な旋律ですので、表情を工夫して、彩り豊かな演奏を目指してください。

This piece was commissioned by the Kobe Municipal Honjo Junior High School Band and premiered at the All Japan Ensemble Contest Kobe regionals in 2011. The original instrumentation is mixed octet (Fl., Cl., A. Sax., Trp., Hrn., Trb., Tuba, Perc).
I adapted it to the ranges that can be played within this flexible version, but it can be a challenge to balance compared to the original. Being a simple melody, please create your own expression in performance.
