女優の桐谷美玲さんが9月19日、東京都内で行われた主演映画「ヒロイン失格」（英勉監督）の初日舞台あいさつに登場。この日はサプライズで原作者の幸田もも子さんから、イラストが描かれた色紙と手紙が贈られ、「映画の中の美玲ちゃんは、はとり（主人公）そのものでした。はとりを演じてもらって言葉では言い尽くせないほど感謝しています。何度も何度も言いますが本当に大好きです」と手紙が読み上げられると、桐谷さんは感極まって涙を流した。
舞台あいさつには山崎賢人さん、坂口健太郎さん、福田彩乃さん、我妻三輪子さん、 高橋メアリージュンさん、濱田マリさん、竹内力さん、英監督も登場した。
「ヒロイン失格」はマンガ誌「別冊マーガレット」（集英社）で2010年4月～13年4月に連載され、コミック累計117万部を発行する幸田さんの人気少女マンガが原作。主人公・松崎はとりは、幼なじみの寺坂利太（山崎さん）のヒロインは自分だと思い込んでいたが、寺坂は同じクラスのイケてない女の子と付き合い始め、はとりには学校イチのモテ男・弘光（坂口さん）が興味を持ち始め……という内容。

Actress Kiritani Mirei appeared at the stage-greetings event on the first screening day of the movie [Hiroin Shikkaku] held in Tokyo on September 19th.
