ソファーで新聞を読んでいた父。パチンコで大当たりした時のことを思い出し「ほほっ」と笑う。母はそれに気付き「あっ、今お父さん、何か思い出し笑いしている」と言う。テレビを見ていたみかんとユズヒコは父の方を見て「何かいいことでもあったの？」と聞く。父は見られたことに恥ずかしくなり、急にムッとして「出かけてくる」と言い、リビングから出てってしまう。父は駅前に向かう途中、公園の前を通る。公園で遊んでる子供達を見て、何かを思い出し、また微笑むのだった…。
