There is a Filipino anime that is being adapted from a graphic novel by Budjette Tan & artist Kajo Baldisimo and being produced on Netflix. The anime is called Trese. The story centers on a vampire hunter type of detective. It is largely inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Philippines pamahiin and alamat, as well as Philippine Mythical Creatures. I can tell that this is gonna be very popular with anime lovers. At least, I hope so!
