Hello everyone! Here’s my anime review. This show was announced early this year and now we have a new trailer. As we know SSSS.Gridman anime series came out over a year ago, and it ended up being one of the best anime. Now the same team that made the first anime series is working on the new one, and we finally know that something interesting is coming out! The Studio Trigger revealed that the anime would be coming out next April. But there’s still an unknown situation with the pandemic, and it may be a delay. Also, the second trailer gives us a better understanding of how the show is shaping up. That means the anime looks more like Power Rangers and less than Ultraman, at least in its monster designs.
When SSSS.Gridman came out, it was a breath of fresh air. I think, SSSS.DYNAZENON will be the most anticipated show of 2021. If the new anime will be opposed to a sequel is perfect. It’s still unknown if an old animation will be used as the foundation for the new sequel. Also, the plot of Gridman was self-contained. It’s literally about Akane so miserable in real life that she tried to find shelter in a virtual world. It’s clear that Akane understood what she has done is wrong by the ending of Episode 12. In order to stop making the virtual world less bad, she decided to leave and finally awakening in the real one with a desire to live life.
Unfortunately, I didn’t see any new action in the last trailer, but I am sure, there will be some interesting fights anyway. While I was watching Gridman for the first time, I saw that story and the characters took center stage even just after episode 1. So, I feel the atmosphere of the show with a new cast of characters is quite impressive. If Studio Trigger made a perfect show just two years ago, so there’s no doubt that they will be able to create a difference in some way. I am sure there will be a premiere somewhere in 2021.
