今日は、『時をかける少女』の新ドラマ化に当たり、「時をかける少女」を英語で歌ってみました♪
この曲は１９８３年に出た映画『時をかける少女』の主題歌でした。
新しいドラマを見ている方いますか。私はジャンルとしてタイムトラベルが大好きで、『時をかける少女』の映画やドラマはほとんど見ています。本来の小説はまだ読んでいませんが！(笑)

English cover of “Toki wo Kakeru Shojo,” originally sung by Tomoyo Harada in 1983, with music and original lyrics by Yumi Matsutoya. The English lyrics are my own.
This was the theme song for the 1983 movie of the same name, which means “The Girl Who Runs Through Time.” It was originally a novel, which was turned into several TV dramas and movies throughout the years. Time travel is one of my favorite genres, so I have seen most of them, although I’ve yet to read the actually book! :$
A new dramatization is now being aired on Nippon TV (NTV), so I thought I would take this opportunity to do an English cover of the original theme song 🙂
