WHEN THE TEASER CAME OUT (HAH) I WAS SO SURPRISED. I’ve always loved Anne cause I am non-binary myself. I followed ParaLive as a casual fan and never looked into the drama CDs (I WILL NOW. I heard the one for this song, it was so cute. Satsuki is a bi mess, SAME.) & assumed Satsuki’s crush on Anne was some sort of joke…I did not know they had so much genuine depth! I REALLY love characters like Satsuki (Susie Deltarune, Guzma Pokémon, and ESPECIALLY Beat Bito from the World Ends With You) and I consider their type of character to be a real archetype for LGBTQ people who are rebels because…I am strikingly similar to these four characters, LOL. 🤣 And I just KNOW this is an LGBTQ+ archetype *waiting* to be popularized and I’m quite happy that Satsuki is one of the first few who are canonically out! I really can’t believe we have a canonically bi, nonbinary ship in ParaRai…I’m the happiest fan EVER. Even if Anne doesn’t like him back (and I KNOW THEY DO LIKE HIM BACK, THEY JUST NEED A LITTLE PUSH), their identities are still canon. A WIN!!! The part of the lyrics where Satsuki swears to Buddha that his love is real is so special to me- I struggled with admitting I’m bi for a while. Being able to confirm your feelings are *real and valid* is such an amazing feeling, and I’m glad Satsuki is proud and expressing himself so openly, so surely. :] SATSUANNE CANON! WOOOO.
P.S. I really am not fluent in Japanese…so there may be better translations out there, LOL.
