This is an early review of the upcoming 2022 LEGO Monkie Kid Evil Macaque set! This is an all-new LEGO Monkie Kid set releasing on January 1st 2022, which contains the all-new Macaque, Shadow Monkey, Monkie Kid, Mei, and Sandy minifigures, as well as a mech for Macaque, and a cannon for Monkie Kid. LEGO Monkie Kid Set 80033 was sent to me early by The LEGO Group, through the LEGO Ambassador Network, but all opinions expressed in this video are my own.
Let children learn about legendary Monkey King tales while playing out fun battles with this LEGO® Monkie Kid™ toy playset (80033), featuring the Evil Macaque’s Mech. This fully posable mech has new-for-January-2022 joints for extra stability, and a big staff that the mech can hold or have clipped onto its back. There are also 5 LEGO minifigures – Mei, Monkie Kid, Sandy, Evil Macaque and Rumble – with cool toy weapons and accessory elements, including Monkie Kid’s stud-shooting Golden Staff Cannon, map and compass.

This construction set is a popular gift toy for creative, trendsetting kids aged 8 and up. It comes with printed and digital building instructions, and the free LEGO Building Instructions app has zoom and rotate viewing tools to make the experience even more fun.
