野伏せりの監視の目を潜り抜け、
ついにカンナ村に辿り着いた
サムライ達を迎えたのは、
農民達の怯えきった目だった。

本当に、野伏せりを倒せるのか
ー不安感が疑惑となり、
しまいには野伏せりに内通し
サムライを売ろうとする者まで現れる始末。

農民とサムライ、
緊張が解けないまま
村の要塞化と
戦闘訓練が開始される。

カツシロウは夜警途中に、
村の内通者と野伏せりの斥候の
密談現場に出くわす。
血気に逸りととび出したカツシロウだが・・・！
