王子（柏崎茜・カシワザキアカネ）
文学部2年生。第1区走者。極度の漫画オタクで、部屋は漫画で埋め尽くされている。大学内では漫画研究会に入部している。端整な顔立ちをしていることから「王子」というあだ名がついたが、その美しい容姿は何の役にも立っていない。
メンバーの中では一番足が遅く、運動神経も鈍いため、練習でもその克服がチーム内での課題となっていた。最初の頃はウォーミングアップにすら苦心し、箱根駅伝に出場するための標準タイムの倍以上の時間を要するほどであった。しかし、ハイジに見込まれた生来の粘り強い精神もあり、走ることを途中で断念することはなかった。当初は、あまりの運動音痴ぶりから、走ることそのものを悲観的に捉えていたが、次第にアオタケの住人と走ることに対し愛着を感じ始める。
