Makoto Misumi of Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu is sent to another planet to meet the goddess and become the hero as part of a strange contract made years ago by a goddess and his parents. Makoto, on the other hand, is deemed “hideous” by the deity, who refuses to even look at him and revokes his heroic title. The goddess sends Makoto to the darkest reaches of the wasteland, far from human civilization, in exchange for giving him the ability to understand all languages except human.
Makoto’s latent physical and magical talents awaken as a result of the discrepancy between Earth and this new universe, making him tremendously powerful. He meets a variety of demi humans and mythological beings who are all enthralled by his characteristics and join Makoto in forming a new village where they may all live in peace.
Despite his prosperity, Makoto still wishes to interact with other people. Makoto and his companions must realize Makoto’s yearning in a world where the goddess herself has forbidden him from mingling with his kind—and perhaps transform society in the process.
