Heki’s trap in a closed field works and Wei’s army suffers many losses. Kyou En manages to foil the trap but Heki’s unit crosses the opponent’s HQ to reach his adversary.
Meanwhile, Wei’s soldiers manage to regain the advantage by positioning themselves on the cliffs.
In turn, Ou Sen comes out of nowhere and takes control of the cliffs, putting Kyou En’s army in a difficult position. He had foreseen from the beginning that the battle would take this turn, and had therefore used Heki as a bait.
Ren Pa rejoins his troops on the cliffs and Ou Sen decides to flee, he does not want to fight when he is not sure to win. Ren Pa and his troops chase him but find themselves facing a fortress, prepared by the general of Qin. Heki’s unit retreats without understanding why the soldiers were used as a decoy by Ou Sen.
Shin is finally back to the camp, wounded to the bone. Kyou Kai helps him with an ointment, while she is also seriously wounded. The next day, Shin seems to be in good shape to return to the battlefield.
Hi Shin Unit is transferred to a reserve army, in order to have a better chance of stopping Rin Ko if he decides to charge. Wei’s army uses a swirling tactic, the Rindou, which drags everything in its path. Rin Ko leads the way, but the whirlwind is blocked by the Hi Shin unit after he managed to kill general Ei Bi. The duel between the fiery young man and the Heavenly King follows their first confrontation.
In the fortress, the confrontation between Mou Gou and Ren Pa is close.
