Isekai Cheat Magician And Bad Anime
Isekai Cheat Magician is an interesting case of an Isekai getting slammed for not living up to the expectations of its viewers. However, I personally think that the over the top nature of how this show is being discussed is far more interesting than the show itself. People seem to like watching anime they hate for the sheer ability to trash on it, not that there’s anything wrong with that but I think a lot of the people who make reviews on these isekai anime don’t seem to understand that. They do get some form of enjoyment out of the show in a weird kinda way. Isekai Cheat Magician over all wasn’t a good anime or isekai in my personal opinion but I wouldn’t say that people shouldn’t give it a try, watch it and see if it’s your thing and if you like it then that’s great, the anime is doing it’s job.
A side of this I forgot to touch on in the video is also how important it is for new anime fans to watch whatever they want and as much of what they want to get a sense for what their tastes are. I think that as a community people have become really obsessed with having the “right opinion” on shows and forget that the most important factor of all of this is the fun aspect. It can be extremely demoralizing to like something and then see other people tear it to shreds in front of you for not living up to some subjective standard. Moral of the story and this video is to like whatever anime you want and just relax lol.
