作品について / Program notes:
日本アニメーション映画の金字塔“ジブリ”の中でも特に人気のある作品「となりのトトロ」より「となりのトトロ」「ねこバス」「風のとおり道」「さんぽ」をメドレーにしました。
となりのトトロはライトサンバ風、ねこバスはジャジーに、さんぽは聴いている人たちが手拍子したり一緒に歌ったり出来るような作りになっています。楽しいひと時を過ごせるような作りにしましょう。

My Neighbor Totoro stands out as one of most popular films from the Japanese animation series produced by Studio Ghibli. This medley includes “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Catbus,” “The Path of the Wind,” and “Stroll.” The title song , “My Neighbor Totoro,” was arranged in a light samba style while other parts of the medley such as “Catbus” have a jazzy feel. “Stroll” was arranged to encourage audience participation as they clap along to this delightful movie medley. This medley takes film music scoring to a new level for the flexible ensemble as the audience is encouraged to join in the joy of making music.
