The Vision Of Escaflowne~Lovers Only (天空のエスカフローネ ～lovers only) is the fourth and final album released featuring the soundtrack to the television animation The Vision of Escaflowne.
It was released on January 22, 1997 by the Victor Entertainment label with a starting price of ¥3,000.
It corresponds to the fourth and last album dedicated to the Escaflowne soundtrack which features tracks compiled from the previous albums, some with new arrangements and a few new tracks. The orchestral music is performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, members of the “Orchestra Dell’Unione Musicisti di Roma” and members of the “Teatro Dell’Opera di Roma”. Yoko Kanno takes part of the composition of almost all the tracks, while Hajime Mizoguchi only takes part of three tracks. It features 14 instrumental tracks and 6 vocal tracks.
